Orange Amplification Introduces The Crush Bass Combo Series
Orange redesigned their entry-level bass combo range with the Orange Crush Bass series. The line – consisting of 25, 50, and 100-watt combos – upgrades their most accessible bass amps with a parametric EQ circuit inspired by their new 4 Stroke bass amp. They also feature analog circuitry, redesigned speakers and ported cabinetry, an onboard tuner, and a headphone output that features CabSim filtering to emulate the company’s OBC cabinets.
The series starts with the Crush Bass 25, which is built with a 8-inch speaker and pumps out 25 watts. The Orange Crush 50 steps things up to 50 watts with a 12-inch speaker, and the Orange Crush 100 delivers 100 watts from a 15-inch speaker. The 100 also adds an effects loop, a footswitch for gain and blend controls, a 6dB pad, and a balanced XLR output.
