Sunny Day Real Estate Album Reissued on Vinyl

Sunny Day Real Estate: How It Feels to Be Something On (Reissue)Sub Pop has released a vinyl reissue of Sunny Day Real Estate’s 1998 reunion album, How It Feels to Be Something On.

Original bassist Nate Mendel did not rejoin the band for the record, opting to stay with the Foo Fighters. However, since that time, he has played on an album with some of his former SDRE bandmates and has appeared live with the band, as well.

Instead, for How It Feels to Be Something On, the band tapped Jeff Palmer (Mommyheads) and Joe Skyward (The Posies) to handle bass duties. It was the sole SDRE album to feature either man. Skyward, also known as Joe Bass, died in March at age 57 following a two-year battle with cancer.

The vinyl reissue of How It Feels to Be Something On is available here.
