MakeMusic Launches Finale v.25
MakeMusic has released version 25 of their popular music notation software, Finale. The new update carries several improvements including the transition to being a 64-bit application, making it more efficient and capable of handling 64-bit sound libraries.
It also includes improved workflow and program support. “Features added in this release include transposed note entry, large time signatures, an incredible playback library, the new ARIA player, ReWire support, improved human playback, and an expanded MusicXML import and export,” the company writes.
Finale v.25 runs on Mac OS Yosemite (10.10) or higher, or Windows 7 (64-bit) or higher. It’s available in a thumb drive or as a download at $600 or $350 with valid academic or worship credentials. Existing Finale users can upgrade for $149.
