Eric Clapton Announces 2017 U.S. Performances with Nathan East

Eric Clapton has announced a four-date run in the U.S. for 2017 that will include two nights each in New York City’s Madison Square Garden and the Forum in Los Angeles. The former Cream guitarist has previously stated he will not be touring much anymore due to his health issues and age, making these concerts a special treat.
Clapton has once again recruited longtime collaborator Nathan East to lay down the low end for the shows. Other band members will include drummer Steve Gadd, keyboardists Walt Richmond and Chris Stainton, and vocalists Sharon White and Michelle John.
East played on some of Clapton’s biggest hits, including “Change the World” and “Tears in Heaven”. He’s currently gearing up to release his second solo album, Reverence, which is due January 20th.
