Hartke Unveils the Bass Attack 2 Preamp Pedal

Hartke has announced the Bass Attack 2 preamp and direct box. The pedal unit combines their classic preamp with an overdrive section and plenty of connectivity.
The pedal has three footswitches: one for on/off, one for the Shape circuit, and one for the overdrive. The EQ section has bass and treble knobs with a contour switch while the Shape circuit activates a preset EQ curve that can be shaped with Frequency and Amount controls. Its overdrive section has Drive, Tone, and Mix controls for dialing in your grit.
Hartke fitted the DI section with a 1/4-inch parallel output for dry signals, a 1/4-inch effect output, and a balanced XLR out. Pre/Post and ground lift switches are included. The entire unit can be powered via two AA batteries, an AC adapter, or phantom power.
The Hartke Bass Attack 2 will be shipping this spring with a street price of $149.99.
