Phish bassist Mike Gordon is gearing up to release a new solo album this September. OGOGO will be available September 15th followed by a fall tour by the bassist’s own band.

The 13-song album includes several that were debuted live at the Sierra Music Festival in June as well as “Let’s Go”, which Phish originally recorded for Big Boat but was left off the record. Gordon has released two tracks from the album so far with the infectious “Steps” and the bass-heavy “Victim”:

The Mike Gordon Band will hit the road starting September 22nd in Athens, Georgia and will cover the East Coast and Midwest over a month. The trek will feature the bassist’s regular touring band of Scott Murawski, Robert Walter, John Kimock, and Craig Myers.
