Aguilar Amplification 2018 Limited Edition Bass Cabinets

After adding the SL 212 to their lineup, Aguilar Amplification has unveiled their limited edition cabinet color for 2018: Dorian Gray. The outfit will be available on the SL 112 (250 units), the SL 410x (100 units), and the SL 212 (100 units). All of the Dorian Gray cabs will feature a “Limited Edition 2018” label on the crossover as well as a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The most compact of the bunch is the SL 112, which features a 12-inch neodymium driver with a custom-designed crossover while weighing in at only 25 pounds. Rated at 250 watts RMS, it also has a phenolic tweeter with variable level control. The SL 212 adds a second driver to up the power to 500 watts at only 45 pounds. Finally, the SL 410x has four 10-inch drivers at 49 pounds, which Aguilar says is almost half the weight of a traditional 410 cab. It comes in four and eight ohm configurations and handles 800 watts.

The Dorian Gray SL 112, SL 212 and SL 410x will be released in January 2018 and carry a US street price of $749.00 for the SL 112, $1199.00 for the SL 212 and $1349.00 for the SL 410x.
