Fano Guitars Announces the JM4-FB Bass
Fano Guitars has introduced the JM4-FB bass, and instrument they say is inspired by the classics and redefined by creativity. The model, which will be debuting at the Winter NAMM Show, is based on one of their guitars.
“Using the ever-popular JM6 as a springboard, we designed the JM4 Bass to look and feel as though it’s been part of the Fano line from its inception,” they write. “The JM4’s classic styling incorporates a 34″ scale length, 10″ radius fretboard and an early 60s ‘C’ shape neck that feels comfortable and familiar in your hands.”
Fano builds the body with alder, fitting it with a set of their TB “FanoBird” pickups. Its maple neck can be topped with a rosewood or maple fingerboard. It comes in medium distress and NOS finishes with 8 colors: Bull Black, Olympic White, Shoreline Gold, Dakota Red, Lake Placid Blue, Desert Sand, Copper Metallic, and Ocean Turquoise.
The Fano Guitars JM4-FB bass is hand-built, one at a time in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s available now from $1,999.99.
