Ashdown Engineering Introduces Bluetooth-Enabled Bass Combo Amp

Ashdown Engineering AAA EVO 120-BT Bass Combo AmpAshdown Engineering has expanded their AAA line of bass amps with the AAA EVO 120-BT, a lightweight combo that offers 120 watts of power with a 15-inch driver and a tweeter. The new model sets itself apart by featuring Bluetooth functionality that allows for streaming music to your amp.

“The AAA EVO 120-BT features deep, foot switchable tube emulated overdrive for devastating distortion, as well as a 4-band EQ section with a sweepable mid control giving complete control over your tone,” Ashdown writes. “The addition of a Vintage/Modern Low push button changes the character of the low end for either a deep vintage feel or a more modern punchy low end. In a similar fashion, on the high end, the Vintage/Modern Highs push button adds or takes away high-end presence.”

Other features include a Tweeter mute switch, a headphone output, passive and active inputs, a balanced DI, and Ashdown’s Apptek socket for accessing amp simulators and effects. It will be available soon with a street price of $379.99.
