Death By Audio Unveils the Deep Animation Pedal

Death By Audio Deep Animation PedalDeath By Audio was on hand at the 2018 Winter NAMM Show to show off their goods including the new Deep Animation, an envelope filter pedal that responds to your playing.

“This crazy goofball responds to how you play, enveloping and filter sweeping and overdriving,” the company writes. “Finally, the perfect wave-thumping bass moving with how hard you hit your strings.”

The pedal has Sensitivity and Intensity knobs for dialing in the filter with an Up/Down footswitch to alter the direction that the filter travels. A Frequency Selector allows for switching between six settings. Another cool feature is the trigger input, which allows for plugging in another instrument (such as a kick drum, etc.) to trigger the filter sweep on your bass.

The Death By Audio Deep Animation is made by hand in New York City. It will begin shipping soon with a direct price of $270.
