Alice in Chains Gear Up For Massive World Tour
Alice in Chains is getting ready to head out on a huge world tour. Anchored by Mike Inez, the band will be hitting the road starting April 28th at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts and covering part of the U.S. through May. They’ll be heading overseas for June and July, only to return to North America for August and September.
The band is also working on their sixth studio album with producer Nick Raskulinecz. They’re recording it in Seattle, which Inez says important for them. “The last two [albums] were [recorded] in L.A., and they were cool,” the bassist said on the Let There Be Talk podcast. “I just feel in 2017, it’s time for Alice in Chains to go back to Seattle – drink that water, breathe that air. My Heart family’s up there. There’s just such a history – every street corner for us is a memory; crazy shit happened or some beautiful stuff. Seattle’s a really special place, especially this time of year. It’s the best.”
