Marco Mendoza Burns It Down on New Dead Daisies Album

The Dead Daisies: Burn It DownThe Dead Daisies have released their fourth studio album, Burn It Down, featuring the bass work of the mighty Marco Mendoza. This time around Mendoza is joined by his newest rhythm section partner, Deen Castronovo, who joined the band last year. The rest of the lineup includes guitarists Doug Aldrich and David Lowy with vocalist John Corabi at the helm.

“Burn It Down sets the scene for another huge year for the band,” Corabi told Metal Talk. “A massive, trailblazing beat, meaty guitars and a thundering vocal deliver a powerful, highly relevant message. [The first single] ‘Rise Up’ is a blistering old school Sabbath riff with angry lyrics about the state of the world. It’s about the people in power that say they have our best interests at heart but don’t. We need to rise up and let our voices be heard and tell them we want CHANGE and deserve BETTER.”

Burn It Down is available now on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3).
