Phil Jones Bass Announces the BP-800 Bass Amp

In addition to previewing the new Cab 27, Phil Jones Bass has unveiled a compact bass amp called the PJB BP-800. The miniature unit weighs just six pounds while pumping out up to 800 watts.
It has a Class A preamp and plenty of features including a five-band EQ, a mute/passive/active switch, a headphone output, an auxiliary input, an effects loop, and a balanced line out. The BP-800 will also work on any AC voltage from 100 volts to 240 volts, which the company says allows for convenient use worldwide.
The Phil Jones Bass BP-800 will be going into production soon and will have a street price of $799 once it is out later this year.
