Pirate Guitar Effects Introduces the Peg Leg Overdrive/Compressor Pedal

Pirate Guitar Effects Peg Leg Overdrive-Compressor PedalPirate Guitar Effects has released the Peg Leg Overdrive and Compressor, a pedal that they say captures the amp tones of the ’60s and ’70s with an added versatile compressor. Useful for bass and guitar, the pedal features dual-mode circuits for a wide palette of sounds.

“Using either the Parallel or Series mode, the Peg Leg allows you to arrange the signal chain so the signal passes through both, the OD and compressor circuits together, or route the signal through the compressor first and then the OD,” Pirate writes. “This versatility creates a unique pedal that combines clean and dirty signals to the desired mix, or create unique sounds designed to match specific needs.”

Aside from the signal placement switch, the Peg Leg has controls for drive, drive volume, compression, and tone. It’s available now for a $179.
