Dumpstaphunk: “Water” Live (2013)

Our friend Walt Finnerty shared this on his Facebook page a while ago, and I bookmarked it to check out. I’m glad I finally did.

This version of Graham Central Station’s “Water” by Dumpstaphunk is stellar – AND it has two bassists. Nick Daniels and Tony Hall share Larry Graham’s bass line as they lead the band in this 2013 performance.

Walt put it best when he shared it: “Jazz is the teacher, Funk is the preacher. In that case, you’re about to go to church.”
