Traveler Guitars Introduces the CL-3BE Acoustic Bass
Traveler Guitars has expanded their line of portable hollow-body instruments with the CL-3BE Acoustic Bass. The four-string is 3/4 the size of a standard instrument and has a 23.35-inch scale length.
It’s built with mahogany back and sides, a spruce top, and a mahogany neck topped by a striped ebony fingerboard. “It also has a lower cutaway and upper beveled top to allow for maximum comfort and playability,” the company says. “The gig-bag is included and fits in airline overhead bins.”
Traveler fits the CL-3BE with a Shadow Nanoflex pickup and a custom Shadow preamp. Its control set includes volume, treble, bass, a phase switch, and an on/off switch for the built-in chromatic tuner. It also has an aux in and headphone output for jamming with backing tracks.
The Traveler Guitars CL-3BE Acoustic Bass carries a street price of $449.

Sounds buzzy.
Totally agree. I’m pretty sure they noticed that too, but there’s nothing they could do about it …
