Matt Deis Leaves CKY
With a European tour just ahead, CKY has announced that bassist Matt Deis has left the band. The group posted a statement from Deis on their Facebook page.
“Thank you to Cig, Jess, all of our hardworking crew & management, and the entire CKY Alliance for having me back these past two years. I’m stepping aside to focus on myself and my family so that CKY can continue their dominant return with nothing holding it back,” he wrote. “I’m so proud of everything that’s been accomplished and I can’t wait to see what’s to come. Be sure to catch them in Europe this July and August while tickets are still available.”
Deis originally joined the band from 2005 to 2010, coming back to the fold in recent years. A replacement bassist has not been named.
