Vox Announces Starstream Active Basses
Vox was on-hand at the 2019 Summer NAMM Show to launch two new basses: The Starstream 1H Artist and the Starstream 2S Artist. Both are short-scale active basses based on the company’s Starstream guitar design.
“This sleek design with a frame structure is not only aesthetically pleasing, it provides the perfect balance that will make playing comfortable and easy,” Vox writes.
The Starstream 1H is fitted with a single Aguilar AG-4M humbucker, while the 2S has two Aguilar AG 4J-70 single-coil pickups. Each is fitted with an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp. Other common features include an alder body, a maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, and Gotoh hardware.
The Vox Starstream 1H Artist and the Starstream 2S Artist basses will available in September with TBA price points.
