Volbeat Releases “Rewind, Replay, Rebound”

Volbeat has returned with their seventh album, called Rewind, Replay, Rebound. It’s the first studio release from the Danish rock band to feature their new lineup with Kaspar Boye Larsen on bass, who officially joined the group in 2016.

“I can say 100 percent that I feel this lineup is the strongest lineup in the Volbeat history so far, both when it comes to working together on the music and being together offstage,” vocalist Michael Poulsen told Consequence of Sound. “I feel that leaves a very important mark in the music, where I can hear that we are having fun.”

Aside from the current lineup, Volbeat enlisted the help of guests such as Clutch vocalist Neil Fallon and Slayer guitarist Gary Holt for the record. Check out “Cheapside Sloggers,” which features Holt and some heavy bass playing from Larsen.

Rewind, Replay, Rebound is available now on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3). A deluxe edition includes bonus tracks and demos.
