Don Slater and Shock Narcotic Release Debut Album

Shock Narcotic: I Have Seen The Future And It Doesn’t WorkShock Narcotic is a new project featuring members and former members of the top acts in metal including ex-Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Jeff Tuttle, ex-Black Dahlia Murder drummer Zach Gibson, Child Bit vocalist Shawn Knight, and Battlecross bassist Don Slater. They’ve just released their first album, I Have Seen the Future and It Doesn’t Work, which blends grindcore, hardcore, and metalcore influences. Slater has another way of describing it.

“Super stoked for everyone to hear this stuff,” he wrote on Facebook. “It’s like an ice pick flavored candy cane being shoved into your ear, then it melts into your brain leaving a saccharine sense of euphoria and rage nicely blended together.”
