Hot Tuna Continues 50th Anniversary Tour Dates

Hot Tuna

The dynamic duo of Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady formed Hot Tuna in 1969 as an offshoot of Jefferson Airplane. Fifty years and fourteen albums later, they’re still making some of the best music on the planet.

The band will be continuing to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary with a new set of tour dates to close out the year. Beginning in New York City at the end of November, the trek will take them across New England into the Midwest, and finally south to Florida, where they will spend New Year’s Eve.

Their upcoming tour will be primarily their acoustic setting with a few electric dates mixed in. Check out the acoustic format of their band performing “Prohibition Blues” including a solo by Casady:

I love mine! Got a white one two years ago. Put black nylon tapewounds on it. Sounds fantastic! Would love to see the anniversary model.
