Our friend Will Lee shared this video a couple of days ago, saying, “Sting singing ‘Mad About You’ – A very favorite moment from Late Night With David Letterman. I need to thank him for generously letting me have a crack at that great bass part! (with Dominic Miller, David Sancious, Paul Shaffer, Anton Fig, Vinnie Colaiuta, Sid McGinnis).”
The performance took place in 1991.
