David Sutkin, Lukas Kuban & Adrian Maruszczyk: Kashmir
Led Zeppelin’s classic “Kashmir” features an epic arrangement filled out with strings, horns, and a mellotron. David Sutkin, Lukas Kuban and Adrian Maruszczyk decided to take things the other way by rocking it out with two basses and a drumset.
Sutkin lays down the main riff while Maruszczyk plays the melody in the upper register of his five-string. I’ve listened to “Kashmir” a ton, but this version rekindled my love for the song.
