BassTival 2025: Hellborg, Pilichowski, Hendriks Lead Daylong Bass Celebration in Germany

One of the biggest bass events of the year is returning this fall, as the BassTival 2025 has been announced for September 20th, 2025. The “all-day, all-night celebration of all things bass” is co-hosted by Public Peace Studios (Maruszczyk Basses) and the dynamic online community Bass Upfront, founded by David Sutkin. It will be held at Public Peace Studios in Aldenhoven, Germany.
“Nestled in the beautiful rural countryside of Aldenhoven, our venue offers a stunning backdrop for a day filled with music, camaraderie, and creativity,” the festival shares. “Plus, with its proximity to the following weekend’s Mannheim Bass and Guitar Summit (just under 3 hours away), BassTival is the perfect way to kick off an incredible weekend of bass festivities.”
Attendees at the event will get the chance to play tons of great gear. The exhibition features some of the most exciting European bass companies, including Stradi, Hevos, Touch Guitars, Mensinger Custom Guitars, Paul Belgrado Stringed Instruments, de Gier, Meta Guitars, and Maruszczyk Instruments.
A stacked lineup of bass artists will also offer workshops and performances. The roster includes Wojtek Pilichowski, Remco Hendriks, Jonas Hellborg, Bruno Tauzin, Bo Waterschoot, Slawek Semeniuk, Stefan Huth, Mery’s Key (featuring Kevin Reginald Cooke), Adrian Maruszczyk, and Bass Upfront’s David Sutkin.
“I’ve been going to bass expos, guitar and bass summits, masterclasses, and almost every kind of bass-related event everywhere around the globe,” says Sutkin. “That being said, I’ve never been more excited for a bass event, like I am for the upcoming 2025 ‘BassTival’ show at Public Peace studios. The caliber of the day’s performers make up my personal bass hero list. The luthiers and builders who are coming to BassTival to show their wares are all dear friends and I cannot wait to hang out with all of them. This will truly be an event that will go down in legend!”
Attendees will also be treated to refreshments.
“As night falls, savor Adrian Maruszczyk’s legendary BBQ, complemented by refreshing drinks served all day long,” the festival shares. “The combination of delicious food, outstanding music, and a vibrant atmosphere makes BassTival an event you won’t want to miss.”
BassTival 2025 is scheduled for September 20th, 2025 in Aldenhoven, Germany. For more info, visit the BassTival website.
