Ashdown Announces The Ant Micro Bass Amp

Ashdown has unveiled a new and impossibly small 200-watt bass amp called The Ant. Weighing in at just two pounds, the unit measures 8 inches wide, 4.6 inches deep, and 2.4 inches tall including its feet and knobs.
“As with its namesake The Ant punches well above its weight/size, capable of carrying any drummer,” Ashdown writes. “Made entirely from aluminum The Ant is fabricated to be durable yet weigh nothing.”
The Ant has a three-band EQ, Ashdown Shape knob, mute, balanced DI output, and a -10dB passive-active input pad. Finally, a headphone output allows for silent practice.
