G&L Guitars Unveils 40th Anniversary Custom Shop L-2000 Bass

G&L Guitars is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its flagship bass model, the L-2000, which was designed by Leo Fender in the company’s early days. To commemorate the occasion, they’ve unveiled a Ruby Anniversary Custom Shop L-2000 that will be limited to 40 pieces worldwide.
“This Custom Shop edition sports an Okoume body with a 3A quilted maple top and a highly figured roasted maple neck,” G&L shared. “The L-2000 bass features Leo Fender’s powerful MFD pickups, Tri-Tone active/passive preamp and Saddle Lock Bridge.”
The G&L 40th Anniversary Custom Shop L-2000 Bass will be available this year with a TBD price point.
