Spector Unveils Euro 4 Ian Hill Judas Priest 50th Anniversary Signature

Spector Ian Hill Signature 2020 Bass Black

Judas Priest turns 50 this year, and Spector is helping bassist Ian Hill celebrate by updating his signature Euro4 bass. Hill, who is the only member to stay in the band its entire existence, worked with the company on some new specifications.

“The Euro4 Ian Hill is reminiscent of an 80’s era Spector with solid Maple body wings, a 3-piece maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard with a custom Judas Priest 50th anniversary inlay, premium electronics, and gold hardware,” Spector writes. “The neck profile on the Euro4 Ian Hill has been carefully tapered to Ian’s specifications, resulting in a slimmer shape that’s sleek and comfortable.”

Another change is the pickup configuration, as the new models sport a single EMG P instead of the P/J set. The bass is loaded with Spector’s TonePump active tone circuit with a control layout of volume, bass boost, and treble boost.

The Spector Euro 4 Ian Hill Judas Priest 50th Anniversary Signature Model is limited to 50 pieces worldwide. It is expected to ship in April with a price point of $2,499.99.
