Maurizio Mariani: Elliott Smith’s “Waltz #1”

Back in 2012, we shared Italian bassist Maurizio Mariani‘s incredible solo version of Elliott Smith’s “Everything Means Nothing To Me.” Now he’s using the quarantine to collaborate with other musicians to continue paying homage to the late singer-songwriter.

“Here in Italy it was hard and maybe we start to see the light, but the most important thing now is to stay at home and let the doctors and nurses manage to contain this disaster,” Mariani wrote to us. “I have a lot of hope, I keep making music for this.”
