Darkglass Electronics Unveils Elite Series Bass Cabinets

Darkglass Electronics DG810ES Bass CabinetAfter unveiling their bass cabinet series at the Winter NAMM Show earlier this year, Darkglass Electronics has launched the Elite Series of cabinets with the DG810ES and DG412ES. The two new offerings are the company’s largest cabs.

“Conceived for the largest stages, and designed to deliver a massive amount of low-end that will cut through the mix like weaponry,” Darkglass writes. “These two options, 810 and 412, feature the modern aesthetic, finishing and finest quality components that Darkglass Electronics is known for.”

Both the 8×10 and 4×12 are made in the USA with custom manufactured neodymium-magnet Eminence speakers plus a compression driver. They are built with 12mm and 15mm Baltic Birch construction with recessed casters and handles. As you might expect, these things can handle some serious power. The DG412ES is rated at 1,200 watts while the DG810ES is rated at 1,600 watts. They weigh 110 and 115 pounds, respectively.
