Hot Tuna Announces July 4th Live Stream

Hot Tuna

Hot Tuna guitarist Jorma Kaukonen has been holding live streams on his own throughout the quarantine, but now bassist Jack Casady has safely driven across the country to join him for a special July 4th concert. The show will be streamed from the Fur Peace Ranch, which has a high-quality video setup and audio system.

Kaukonen and Casady will be performing in their acoustic duo format. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be kicking things off at 8 pm Eastern Time. You can find the show on their YouTube channel, where you can also set a reminder for it.

Until then, check them out performing “Watch the North Wind Rise” from Fur Peace Ranch in 2017:

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
