Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and Patitucci Host “Bootsy’s Challenge” Webinar

This week’s Berklee/BassVault.com webinar is sure to get funky. Hosts Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci will be talking with Bootsy Collins, Ron Carter, Béla Fleck, and Emi SunShine in a session they’re calling “Bootsy’s Challenge.”

“What does a Godfather of Funk, the most recorded bassist in Jazz, a Banjo Virtuoso and Innovator, and a Prodigious Young Country/Americana Artist all have in common?” the webinar description asks. “Come and find out, along with Victor Wooten, John Patitucci, and Steve Bailey.” As with all of the webinars, surprise guests are bound to make appearances, as well.

Collins is currently raising money for MusiCares to support out of work music industry professionals.

The Zoom webinar is free and open to the public, will be held Thursday, July 30th at 1 pm Eastern time. Attendance is limited, so be sure to register via the Berklee Zoom page.
