Steve Winwood: Gimme Some Lovin’ (2020)
While Steve Winwood is one of the many looking to return to performing live, that’s not stopping him from performing virtually.
In this clip he posted earlier this month, his band, which includes bassist Nate Williams, performed The Spencer Davis Group’s “Gimme Some Lovin’.”
It sounds fantastic.
Steve is a legend. Great stuff. I think he was fifteen years old when he started with the Spencer Davis group.
Steve W. Is not only a great vocalist, whether rock or acoustic, but plays many instruments, talented songwriter, and still easy on the eyes.
Thanks Steve for 50yrs of great music/memories. I listened to Spencer Davis on an old tube radio (had to warm it up for 15 mins) at night.
