Pig Destroyer Releases “The Octagonal Stairway” with Travis Stone
Pig Destroyer has released a new EP called The Octagonal Stairway, which they call “a blistering dose of grindcore, harsh noise, and industrial swagger.” It’s their second ever release to feature a bassist, and the first to have Travis Stone, who replaced John Jarvis early last year.
True to their word, the album gets experimental with industrial and electronic sounds. However, the lead song, “The Cavalry”, is everything you’d expect from the grindcore band plus a quick bass break. Check out the song with this video crafted from fan-submitted clips:
The Octagonal Stairway is available now on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3, and Bandcamp).
