Joey DeMaio Launches “Words of Power” Podcast

Words of Power Podcast with Joey DeMaio

Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio has started a new podcast called “Words of Power,” in which he will discuss life lessons that helped him achieve and live his dream. He will be joined by guests to cover a wide range of topics including his band, running a studio, the music industry, and overcoming obstacles.

“This comes in response to requests that I receive every day from people seeking advice,” DeMaio says of starting the podcast. “Some are asking career questions, others want guidance regarding difficult situations, or because they are at a turning point in their life and need encouragement and inspiration. Family and friends have encouraged me to share my experiences as a musician and entrepreneur with over four decades of successes and challenges. If I can help just one person get through tough times or help them to follow their dream it will be one of my life’s greatest rewards.”

Each episode is between 20-30 minutes long. The first three are available now with the first two featuring conversations with video editor Kevin McAuliffe, who is working with the bassist on Manowar’s upcoming Blu-Ray/DVD release Hell On Earth 6.

“Words of Power – With Joey DeMaio” is available now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and more.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
