Bass of the Week: Marusya Guitars Archtop Bass
This week we’re checking out a beautiful five-string archtop built by Marusya Guitars. The gorgeous instrument was hand-built in Perm, Russia with mahogany for the body back and sides and a spruce top. Its four-piece Hard Rock maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with white dot inlays.
Similar to vintage hollowbody guitars, the bass has a raised pickguard, f-holes, and a single Bartolini pickup. Other features include Gotoh tuners, a Hipshot bridge, and a high gloss finish.

Looks beautiful. I particularly like the binding on the “f holes”. What a shame, despite the sumptuous look and evident artistry if the build – high gloss varnish on the neck. But that IS subjective, I guess.
OMFG. This is IT!
