Ernie Ball Music Man 2021 New Bass Finishes

While no new basses have been revealed so far, Ernie Ball Music Man has unveiled a plethora of dazzling new finishes for their basses. That includes the Music Man line as well as the entry-level Sterling by Music Man line.

First is the StingRay Special, which has eight new finishes for both the four-string and five-string versions. The model now comes in Amethyst Sparkle, Black, Snowy Night, Raspberry Burst, Smoked Chrome, Speed Blue, Burnt Ends, and Forest Green. The Bongo bass is also being offered in Harvest Orange for 2021.

In the Sterling lineup, the short-scale StingRay RAYSS4 now comes in Dropped Copper. Its long-scale counterparts also get freshened up.

“The StingRay Ray34 is now available in Vintage Sunburst and Neptune Blue Satin, and the StingRay Ray34HH comes in Natural Burst Satin,” the company writes. “The StingRay Ray35 comes in Vintage Sunburst, and the StingRay Ray35HH is available in Natural Burst Satin.”

Other new colors include Pacific Blue Burst Satin for the StingRay Ray4HH and Candy Apple Red for the StingRay Ray4HH and the StingRay 5HH.

All of the new finishes are shipping soon with varying price points.
