Bailey, Wooten, and Patitucci to Host “Giants of Rock” Webinar

The Berklee Bass Department’s weekly hangout will continue on Thursday, March 18th at 1 pm Eastern. Hosted by Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci, the session this week will feature “Giants of Rock” with rhythm section members from four major bands.

That will include Justin Chancellor and Danny Carey from Tool, Nate Mendel and Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters, Stefan Lessard and Carter Beauford from Dave Matthews Band, and Kenny Aronoff from Chickenfoot.

“Huge Tours, Platinum Albums, Unique and Solid Grooves, are but a few things these masters have in common,” the event description states. “We will explore what got them to where they are, the skills needed, and how they stay in the game year after year.”

As always, special guests are bound to show up and surprise everyone. This Zoom webinar is free and open to the public, but you must register ahead of time through Berklee’s Zoom page.
