Michael Kelly Introduces Pinnacle 4 and 5 Basses
Michael Kelly has expanded its electric bass lineup with the Pinnacle 4-string and 5-string basses. Each of the models are built with a swamp ash body topped with burled poplar in a natural finish.
Its five-piece neck is built with maple and walnut, which is then fitted with an ebony fretboard. The 24 frets are inlaid with diamond-shaped markers as well as glow-in-the-dark side dots.
The Pinnacle is loaded with a pair of custom-wound Rockfield MDC humbuckers, each with a coil-split switch, and three-band EQ. The volume knob doubles as a push-pull switch for going between active and passive operation. Michael Kelly includes their own MCN bridge with adjustable saddles that move side-to-side for micro-adjustments in string spacing.
