Darryl Anders and AgapeSoul Release “Nobody But You” feat. Maysa
Darryl Anders and AgapeSoul have followed up their recent single, “Bulletproof”, with another song and some exciting news. “Nobody But You” is not only the name of the new song, but it’s also the name of the band’s upcoming EP. The track features legendary soul and jazz singer Maysa.
“I have been a huge fan of Maysa from the moment I heard Incognito’s classic ‘Deep Waters’. Working with her is a dream come true,” Anders says.
The song is also the first collaboration between Anders and songwriter/producer Sundra Manning, aka Ledisi, who took the demo and gave it a classic R&B feel.
“Nobody But You” kicks off with a buttery bass line by Anders, who gave us the scoop on how he got his tone. “I tracked this song with my passive Stenback 5 string alder rosewood bass, direct into my Jule Monique Bamboo preamp into my Apollo Twin interface using their new LUNA DAW.”
