It would be wrong to focus on Synth Bass and not include anything by Parliament-Funkadelic. Upon searching for some cool videos, I stumbled across the multitrack for the funk classic “Knee Deep”.
In this clip, we hear the isolated synth bass and drum track. Legend has it that Bootsy is on drums! Synth Bass was usually handled by the late, great Bernie Worrell, but Junie Morrison is laying down the groove on this one. PHAT!
