The Brown’stone: The 2-5-1 Chord Progression Using Triads & Inversions

This week in The Brown’stone on No Treble, I want to take another look at triads and inversions. In this lesson, I’m going to show you how you can use these three notes to play the II-V-I chord progression in a variety of different ways.

So grab your bass and follow along! It’s pretty amazing when you realize how much you can do with so little.

Thanks No Treble for turning me on to Rich! His lessons are excellent, easy-to-follow, and fun. I like his teaching style very much and I’ve learned quite a bit in a short amount of time already.
