Bass of the Week: AGH Custom Basses Sono Magna Single Cut
This week we’re checking out a decked out Sono Magna Single Cut bass by AGH Custom Basses out of the Staffordshire Moorlands town of Leek. AGH says this bass has “the works,” and we believe it.
It’s crafted with a swamp ash body fitted with a resin-infused burl poplar top. The neck is a seven-piece laminate of maple and sapele with a Birdseye maple fingerboard. For electronics, luthier Alex Johnson chose a pair of Gemini Dominator humbuckers that feed into a Delano MSE 3 preamp.

Once AGAIN why are the prices of these Basses not posted?
Hey Robert, we used to put prices on bass of the week articles, but the conversation always devolved into just price. We stopped posting prices so we can focus on the actual craftsmanship and designs. Anyone interested can contact the builder through their website.
Thanks,
Kevin
Thank you.
