Phil Jones Bass Unveils the BP-200 Bass Head

Phil Jones Bass is rolling out a new product called the BP-200, which they bill as the “ultimate affordable bass head.” Rated at up to 200 watts, the compact head unit weighs just 2.5 pounds and can fit into a backpack.
The BP-200 brings together a Class D power section with a class A single channel preamp in an aluminum and steel enclosure. Its signal chain starts with a switchable input pad for active or passive basses plus a mute switch.
Other features include a 3-band EQ, a subsonic filter, a headphone jack, a balanced XLR output with pre/post EQ and ground lift switches, a preamp output, and a line-out jack.
The Phil Jones Bass BP-200 will be available soon at a price of $375.
