Boss Unveils the RC-600 Loop Station
Boss’s line of loopers has gotten even bigger with the introduction of the RC-600 Loop Station. The floor unit has multiple inputs with six stereo phrase tracks, nine assignable footswitches, three pedal modes, and loads of connectivity. It also has a loop indicator and seven LCD screen variations to keep visual track of everything.
“With the RC-600’s 49 Input FX and 53 Track FX types, users can process sounds before and after loop capture to bring color, variation, and excitement to performances,” the company writes. “Included are versatile effects from the vast BOSS library, a guitar-to-bass simulator, and powerful vocal FX. The Track FX selections also include cool DJ-style effects like Beat Scatter, Vinyl Flick, and more. Up to four Input FX and Track FX can be used at once, and banks of four can be stored in each section for quick recall.”
The RC-600 also has over 200 built-in rhythms of multiple genres to fill out your arrangements. Users can choose from four pattern variations from each rhythm type and trigger intros, endings, and fills. Sixteen different kits let you explore and find the right timbre for your groove.
The Boss RC-600 will be shipping in December with a street price of $599.99.
