Manou Gallo with Christian McBride: Emotion

I love seeing collaboration between bassists, especially with players of this caliber. Manou Gallo, aka the Queen of Afro Groove, recruited jazz icon Christian McBride to lay some foundation for her latest song, “Emotion.” The connection between the two artists was made by another great of the low frequencies.

“It was a pleasure to collaborate with Manou Gallo on her new single, ‘Emotion,'” McBride wrote on Facebook. “Manou is such a fantastic musician. Thank you William “Bootsy” Collins for turning me on to Manou!”
