Shalyah Fearing: Empowerment (Berklee Two Track)
Berklee recently released a new video in their “Two Track” series, and this one is special.
Singer-songwriter Shalyah Fearing, along with bassist Kyla Wright and guitarist Preston Kra perform Fearing’s “Do You See Me?” as well as a cover of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Lost One”.
The theme for this performance is empowerment. Here’s the background:
“For her story of empowerment, Fearing pays tribute to two strong and inspiring women: her mother, who raised and homeschooled eight children while pursuing a nursing career, and her grandmother, who ran a successful independent business.”
What a trio! We love everything about this.
