Walter Barnes, Jr.: Live Bass Solo
Today, we have a killer video from bassist Walter Barnes, Jr.
Barnes has played with Christina Aguilera, Musiq Soulchild, Angela Bofill, and is currently holding the bass chair for both Babyface and Toni Braxton.
In this video, the Bass Mods are in full swing! Walter starts the solo by locking in the groove with the drummer, and then kicks it in overdrive! He even quotes the classic “Sir Duke” with some phat low notes thrown in.
The band falls in and we get an awesome solo from the drummer at the end vamp!
