Ryan Madora and Derrek Phillips Release “12 Bar Blues Survival Pack”
Blues and classic R&B aficionado Ryan Madora started contributing to No Treble with a series on Blues Bass, eventually expanding into numerous other columns and lessons.
Now the Nashville-based session bassist has teamed up with her longtime musical partner Derrek Phillips to release the 12 Bar Blues Survival Pack (for Bass and Drums). The educational package is made for a rhythm section, by a rhythm section.

The pack guides you through playing twelve essential feels ranging from shuffles and slow blues to funky blues and rumbas. Madora and Phillips teach you the need-to-knows of terminology, standard tunes, and listening skills. Each lesson has bass TAB as well as notatin with play-along tracks to perfect your feel.
