One of the most frequently asked questions Rich Brown gets has to do with his tone. So this week in The Brown’stone on No Treble, he shows us how he gets his tone. To prove the point, he grabbed his cheap Squier bass to demonstrate.

Black metal legend Abbath has returned with his third solo album, entitled Dread Reaver. While Abbath handles bass on five of the album’s tracks, the remaining four are handled by bassist Mia Wallace.

Spector has launched a new set of basses in its NS Pulse series with the NS Pulse II. The four- and five-string basses now have three new matte finishes, while the new six-string model comes in Black Stain.
