ISB Virtual Bass Fest Set for June 10 & 11
The International Society of Bassists is bringing back their Virtual Bass Festival for 2022. The two-day event will be held June 10th and 11th, featuring live presentations, an exhibit hall, “ISB After Hours” nightly hangs, and more.
John Clayton will be giving keynote address while performances and presentations will be given by Thierry Barbé, Gary Karr, Uxia Martinez Botana, Pablo Aslan, Rufus Reid, Susan Hagan, and many more. Ron Carter will be interviewed by Steve Bailey in a segment called “A Musical Life.”
The event will also feature tributes to ISB members that passed this year including composer Tappo Hauta-Aho and bassist, arranger, and bass community pioneer Inez Wyrick.
